Character I created for the CG Online school Yiihuu.com to teach how to create a sci-fi character for games.
In this tutorial I tried to take all the steps to create a character for games divided in 17 chapters and over 50 hours of videos where I will not just show you how to modeling the character but I teach about anatomy and rules to help you in the sculpt process, hard surface modeling techniques for Zbrush and traditional 3D programs, create the cloths using Marvelous Design, retopology and UV for game model, tips for baking your maps, create PBR textures using Substance Painter, rendering using Marmoset Tool Bag and finally create a basic Rig using A.R.T. for Maya with custom controllers to animate automatically the helmet.
All source files created by me are included. Check bellow everything that is included.
