Skullface is a real-time character created for the Marauder faction in Decimated, a dystopian sci-fi multiplayer game by Fracture Labs.

This character was built with 30k triangles and optimized for both gameplay and cinematic use in Unreal Engine 5. The design features heavy, weathered armor with punk-inspired details, like scavenged plating, graffiti markings, and a skull-themed helmet that gives the character a brutal, intimidating presence.

I focused on creating a gritty, lived-in look using PBR materials, layered wear-and-tear, and asymmetric armor pieces to emphasize the Marauders’ anarchic, survivalist nature. The model uses dynamic lighting and emissive accents to bring out surface detail and mood, especially in darker environments.
